Jiji is named after the cat in the movie Kiki's Delivery Service (which, if you haven't seen you definitely should). I found him in Indianapolis in 2019 and we've been buddies since.

Pepeiao (aka Pepe) is the Hawaiian word for ears. Pepe was named so by the cool people at Huron Valley Humane Society (check them out!) because her ears had had some frostbite on them and needed to be clipped when she was found in 2020. She has since been keeping warm with me and Jiji.

Although Jiji can be a little too playful for Pepe, they always find time to chill together.
